Basic principles of gas chromatography:

Gas chromatography is a chromatographic separation analysis method that uses gas as a mobile phase. The vaporized sample is carried by the carrier gas (mobile phase) into the chromatographic column. The stationary phase in the column has different molecular forces from the components in the sample, and the time for each component to flow out of the chromatographic column is different, and the components are separated from each other. Using an appropriate identification and recording system, make a chromatogram that marks the time and concentration of each component flowing out of the chromatographic column. According to the peak time and sequence indicated in the figure, the compound can be qualitatively analyzed; according to the height and area of the peak, the compound can be quantitatively analyzed. It has the feather  of high efficiency, high sensitivity, strong selectivity, fast analysis speed, wide application, simple operation and so on. Suitable for qualitative and quantitative analysis of volatile organic compounds.

Application:
As long as the substance can be vaporized without decomposition under the conditions allowed by the gas chromatograph, it can be determined by gas chromatography. For some thermally unstable substances, or substances that are difficult to vaporize, through chemical  methods, gas chromatography can still be used for analysis. It has been widely used in petrochemical, medical and health, environmental monitoring, biochemistry, food testing and other fields

1. Application in sanitary inspection Air and water pollutants such as volatile organic compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, benzene, toluene, benzo(a) ratio, etc.; residual organochlorine and organophosphorus pesticides in crops; food additives, benzoic acid, etc.; biological materials such as body fluids and tissues Analysis such as amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, etc.

2. Application in medical laboratory Analysis of biological materials such as body fluids and tissues: such as fatty acids, triglycerides, vitamins, sugars, etc.

3. Application in drug analysis Determination of volatile components in antiepileptic  drugs, Chinese patent medicines, and alkaloids, etc.


The basic composition of the instrument: Sampling system + chromatographic column + detector + chromatographic

Technical features:
 The host has the memory and recall function of 20 sets of sample test methods    
 (In the past, we usually record the condition of the test sample in the sample map and output it to the electronic file. When the sample is to be remade, it must be manually input and adjusted according to the requirements of the sample test, especially in the gas circuit part. The workload is very large. Now just recall the previous storage directly, and the rest of the instrument will be completed automatically)
